My husband and kids would compl ain about my snoring. We were even once on vacation and my daughter who was sleeping on the couch outside our bedroom yelled in her sleep "Shut up!" I was extremely tired during the day-so tired that at 9 am on my way to work I was looking for a place to pull over to take a nap. Finally my doctor prescribed "provigel" to help me stay awake.

I finally went to ENT who fixed (my) deviated septum, however, then my husband complained that snoring was worse, not better. Te ENT recommended that I see Dr. Shapira for a sleep appliance (my brother has the huge CPAP machine that is noisy and he has to take it with when he travels. He says it is so noisy he that he cannot hear anything when he wears it.

The sleep appliance works great. I have my life back. I am able to stop taking the medication to keep me awake during the day and my husband no longer complains about the snoring.

I even went on vacation with a lady friend who at first did not want me in the same cabin on the cruise because she had experienced my snoring on a drive to Florida. She said, if we go again-separate rooms." We went on the cruise, shared a small cabin and only once did I start to snore. She had me roll over and I was fine. It is definitely a life saver.
